
Summer 2008 'Step Up' Awards
Provides a supportive, structured environment for youth 18-21
through a family living model.
Spanaway site: (Tempoary site opens January 2010 )
Located on the 2nd floor of Youth Resources Drop-In Center, the Spanaway Youth House accommodates eight female youth. This is an emergency site along with transitional housing.
( 2 emergency beds + 6 transitional beds )
A Residential Coordinator lives on-site. Staff is available 24 hours a day.
Duration of stay: Emergency 30 - 90 days
Transitional 18 - 24 months
To be eligible for admittance to Spanaway site, youth must be:
- homeless
- between the ages of 18 and 21
- able to adapt to a group living model
- highly motivated to work towards self-sufficiency
- alcohol & drug free
Graham site:
Housed in a spacious Graham home, the Graham Youth House accommodates five male youth. This is an emergency site along with transitional housing. ( 1 emergency bed + 4 transitional beds )

- homeless
- between the ages of 18 and 21
- a Bethel School District student
- able to adapt to a group living model
- highly motivated to work towards self-sufficiency
- alchohol & drug free
